How Do I Start the Remodeling Process?
Start by defining your goals and establishing a basic budget. Working with a professional from that point on will maximize your final investment.
Can You Help with Design Ideas?
Yes! As professionals, we pursue continuing education in design and visit many trade shows and industry events to stay on the cutting edge of design.
What Sets Your Design Team Apart?
We have trained interior design professionals on staff. Some team members even hold credentials such as Certified Kitchen Designer and Certified Bathroom Designer. We also have additional accreditations in universal design for aging-in-place and living-in-place projects.
Many factors will impact the length of your remodel project. These factors include the time needed to finalize the design due to its complexity and the speed of decision-making; the time required to procure the materials; and the scope of work once construction begins.
What Is the Budgeting Process Like?
We talk about the budget from day one.
Ultimately, the final investment is contingent upon the finalized layout and materials.
We maintain full transparency during this process by telling you everything you need to know so your investment is future-proof.
Once we enter the design phase, we focus on the layout so we can estimate the probable cost.
How Do You Ensure Quality in Construction?
Our carpenters are on-staff, and we regularly walk through the job site to inspect every detail.
Additionally, we conduct an on-site job audit after each milestone. Then, we walk through the site with you to ensure you are completely satisfied before moving on to the next milestone.
Do You Handle Permits and Regulations?
Yes, Capozzi pulls all required permits for each project. Each town is different, so we abide by the rules of each city we work in.
What’s more, we are fully insured with coverage for all required areas. All our sub-trades also provide proof of insurance. We do this for your protection as well as ours.
You can stay in your home, but it will be a construction site.
We clean the site at the end of each day, and we take every precaution to keep the site clean and safe throughout the project. Our safety measures include setting up barriers and using HEPA filtration.
Finally, we minimize disruptions by adhering to strict work hours.
You can discuss all change orders with your project manager. Then, we will provide a written change order detailing the scope of work. The written change order will discuss the cost or outline the terms if the cost cannot be determined.
What Guarantees or Warranties Do You Provide?
We offer a minimum two-year Workmanship Warranty for all projects.
How Do You Communicate Progress?
Your project manager will provide weekly updates. We will also walk through the job site with you at each project milestone. Each job site walk-thru will include the homeowner, the designer, and the project manager.
